Dry season Rice farming to commence in Cross River State soon

Rice Farmers in Cross River State are rejoicing as CBN is ready to commence the RIFAN anchored Dry Season Rice Farming in the State, in support of the Rice Revolution of His Excellency Senator Ben Ayade administration. 
This was disclosed recently by Mr Emmanuel Anoh, Vice President of RIFAN South South Nigeria, during the stakeholders engagement with Rice Farmers in Cross River State. 
Mr Anoh who is former Special Adviser to Cross River State Governor, reiterated the commitment of Gov Ben Ayade administration to improve Livelihoods of rural dwellers through Rice Farming. He reminded farmers of government willingness to support widows & young agropreneurs with land for Rice Farming, as an encouragement and deliberate effort to create wealth through Rice Farming as an Enterprise.
The stakeholders interactive Forum which was attended by Representatives of Central Bank of Nigeria, Unity Bank Plc, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Company & the State Ministry of Agriculture, featured the Presentation of application Forms for participation in the Dry Season Rice Farming in the State.
Farmers expressed immense appreciation to Governor Ben Ayade for creating the enormous opportunities for self sufficiency & wealth for the rural people through his massive agro Industrialization projects which has great impacts in their Livelihoods. 
Rice Farmers are expected to complete the Rice Farming application forms through the Rice Farmers Coordinators of their LGA of origin, Ward of residence or contact the Regional Office of RIFAN, Calabar for enlistment & further guidance.
