COVID-19: C’River has just 33 medical doctors

There are just a total of thirty-three medical doctors in the employ of the Cross River State Government NEGROIDHAVEN has learnt. This statistics is according to the Nigerian Medical Association NMA. 
According to NAN correspondent in Cross River, George Odok, this is not unconnected to the poor remuneration package for physicians and failure of the state government to implement the 100% CONMESS approved nationally for medical workers.
According to information published by Odok the state seem to have the least number of public medical doctors:

With the ravaging prowl of the Covid-19, one is forced to query the man power with which the state government will contend the likely overwhelming incident of the pandemic in the state with a rough population estimate of four (4) million Nigerians. 
The World Health Organisation WHO doctor to population ratio is 1:1,000.
