Information reaching us say, Hon. Timothy Golu, Secretary of the Screening Appeal Committeee for Cross River North Senatorial District by-election is being held hostage at the Presidential lodge, Calabar, to sign the disqualification of Rt. Hon. Jarigbe Agom from the contest.
Mr Festus Ifeanyi just got a call from him, saying he is jittery and under threat. Mr Festus Ifeanyi is a member of the Screening Committee. Festus Ifeanyi revealed that Hon Timothy Golu was bribed with 1.8m naira to do the hatchet job. Timothy Golu also confirmed that the National Legal Adviser mandated to disqualify Rt Hon Jarigbe, on account of taking the Party to Court.
Hon Timothy Golu, has been asked to sign the document before 2pm.
