The Executive Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Council, Hon. Effiom Bassey Effiong, has emerged as the Secretary of the Forum of Local Government Chairmen in Cross River State NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

The announcement was made on Monday, November 18, 2024, during a meeting of the forum with the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, at the Glass House, Government House Calabar.

Meanwhile, Hon. Inyang Yibala, Chairman of Yakurr Local Government Council, emerged as Chairman of the Forum, while Hon. James Anam, Chairman of Calabar Municipality, was elected Vice Chairman.
