Kalz Farms to partner Senator Sandy, Gershom, Jarigbe others to train over 5,000 youths in agri-business

Kalz Farms, one of Nigeria's agritech and training platforms is set to train over 5,000 youths in agri-business in Cross River State NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
Godshield Kanjal, founder of Kalz Farms, made this known in a statement issued Calabar Wednesday, adding that the agri-business training is targeted at the three senatorial districts of the state.
He listed the senatorial districts to include northern, central, southern senatorial districts and all the federal constituencies in the state.
According to the agropreneur, the programme is also aimed at equipping thousands of youths interested in Agriculture with the requisite information to scale their businesses.
He said with the growing population in the country and unemployment, there was the need for youth active engagement in agriculture for food security and jobs creation.
"With our growing population and unemployment in the country, and as a state (Cross River), blessed with large and fertile land for agriculture, it's important we engage our youths in profitable agri-busineses, and this can only be done by equipping the youths with modern practises in agriculture. And that's what Kalz Farms is doing
"Since 2017, when we took off, we have trained over 1000 young people in Cross River State in Agriculture and they are all doing well in their respective businesses"
"As an agritech company, We have also leveraged digital platforms to train many Africans especially in agro-products marketing", the statement reads.
He said his agritech company is partnering with representatives in the state, including Senator Sandy Onor, Senator Gershom Bassey, Senator Rose Oko, Hon. Jarigbe Agom, Hon. Mike Etaba, Hon. Daniel Asuquo, Hon. Legor Idagbor among others.
