The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities ASUU at the University of Calabar, Calabar Tuesday has chosen for itself a new chair in Edor J. Edor Ph.D., Esq NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
Edor the immediate former secretary of ASUU in UNICAL who lectures at the Department of Philosophy of the said University garnered 421 votes as against Dr. Jonas Akung's 52 votes,
Dr. Kalu Ogbonna's 74 votes and
Dr. Peter Ubi's 285 votes.
According to popular social commentator, Dr Joseph Odok Esq., who is one of prominent eggheads of the prestigious Ivory Tower 'Edor made history as the best Post Graduate President of the Alimongono Republic University of Calabar. His achievement as Post Graduate President within one year includes but not limited to a big KVA Generator and a borehole still in use since the expiration of his tenure in 2008. None before and after him has equalled his feat.'
