Calabar – Otuekong Orok Duke, the Commissioner representing Cross River state at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has taken proactive steps to assist flood victims in the state. On Friday, he secured relief materials to alleviate the plight of those affected by flooding in various communities NEGROIDHAVEN has garnered.
The relief materials, which will be distributed to the affected areas in the coming weeks, includes essential items such as food supplies, beds, beddings, and other necessities. This initiative comes as a timely response to the challenges faced by residents grappling with the aftermath of flooding in their communities especially as the wet season sets in.
