The National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan has described as fake news, reports that the national headquarters of the party has ordered the conduct of another round of primaries ahead of local government elections in Cross River State.
In a WhatsApp message, Ologbondiyan simply dismissed the report as “a lie,” adding, “this is fake news.”
Recall that yesterday news reports had it that National Working Committee of the People's Democratic Party affirms that PDP doesn’t have Candidates for the LGA elections of 28th March 2020 in Cross River State
Continuing the report said the National Working Committee of PDP directs the Cross River State Chapter of the party to ask for a shift in date of LGA elections. Faults the Leadership of PDP in Cross River State.
According to the report 'An inside source from the NWC in Abuja said that the party insisted that the right thing be done on the basis of transparency.
