The Mayor of Calabar, Hon. Effefiong Nta Eke has lauded the security architecture of Gov. Ayade with its attendant reduction in pocket criminal activities and security nuisance in Cross River State.
He mentioned this while granting audience to the Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, Cross River State, Commandant Majekodunmi Abidemi and his entourage at the hallowed chamber of his office.
As part of his address, the Mayor of Calabar expressed satisfaction in the strides recorded by Gov. Ayade in the security sector of which his New Face Administration is keenly poised to key into the mainstream security architecture of the State.
The council boss opined that with a cordial synergy between the NSCDC and the council, the security mishaps in the LG can be brought to the lowest minimum in a twitch while pledging unflinching support to the NSCDC, insofar as it is geared toward corroborating Gov. Ayade security architecture in the State.
Commandant Majekodunmi Abidemi in his remark appreciated the Mayor for the audience irrespective of his busy schedule. The security guru, expressed delight in the concerted supports they have been enjoying from the Mayor especially their volunteer’s squad.
He mentioned that NSCDC Cross River State Command is operationally ready to align with the council to combat insecurity in Calabar Municipality.
