Biase Council chair taunted for returning from France to bottles of alcoholic beverages

Mrs Ada Charles Egwu the Chair of Biase council in Cross River has been serially taunted for returning from France to bottles of alcoholic beverages NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

According to photographs made available by Agba Jalingo the embattled Nigerian activist on his social media account, the council boss ‘went to Paris to snap pictures, look at cows and bamboo and returns to bottles of beer.’

While justifying his criticism of Chair Egwu, Jalingo added ‘I drink too. But the difference here is that I buy with my hard earned money and not government (sic)… Madam chairman… E lora oo’.

The critical thread and photographs has inspired other critical reactions from netizens: ‘Who knows? She might be sensitizing them on the need to take enough alcohol after looking at cows and touching bamboom in Paris for a crystalized Sustainable development in Our beloved state. Even the devil is yet to beat the Lies Nigerian politicians tell. Good morning madam chairman.’ said Rexson Eval. ‘Who did Cross Riverine’s offend to be given such irritating and clueless leader’s? Oh God, We are finished.’ said Clement Ugbe. Effiong Edet said ‘Wahoo Such a poverty strike mentality..so Paris that individuals go on their own is where the governor of the state take them to.. Is a pity..I see why he selected them…. Who bewitch us..Na only people where never go town before where dem they sent with anoda person to show dem road reach town…#stop taking money from local government pulse allow and local government to control their money alone ….’ For Joseph Egim, it is ‘I just want to announce to the people of Biase that the dream of your Chairman isn’t a better Biase,but going to Paris. Congratulations Biase people, your Chairman dream have come true. So even if she leaves office today,she is fulfilled because her life Greatest Dream ‘ve come true.’

Recall that the State Governor of Cross River, Ben Ayade, embarked on a trip to Paris in France for a business summit with council chairs, and other politicians in the state including the Speaker, and Leader of the State House of Assembly etc. In that visit, Mrs Egwu disclosed that ‘Coming to Paris has been my childhood dream and God has used HE, to actualize this dream…. Life, gives us what we demand…… I AM A CHILD OF GRACE.’
