Chief Henry Onwe congratulates Okadigbo, Stainless, other APC C’River Executive Committee members

Chief Henry Igelle Onwe, frontrunner for the Ogoja/Yala House of Representatives vacant post has extended his felicitations to Barrister Alphonsus Eba, aka Okadigbo, the newly elected Chairman of All Progressives Congress in Cross River State and Hon Thomas Aruku, Stainless who clinched the position of Organising Secretary of the party and other exco members on their election NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.

In a statement released on Sunday, Chief Onwe who has won three consecutive online polls and the endorsement of Ogoja/Yala legislative Houses and that of former Commissioner for Health Dr Paul Adi said Barrister Eba is a man of intergrity with unflinching commitment to the growth of democracy and unwavering loyalty, qualities that have endeared him to the leadership and members of the party thereby singling him out to occupy the high office of Chairman of the APC in the state.

“Without doubt, your sterling personality as a man of intergrity, staunch commitment to the cause of democracy and unwavering loyalty have made you the obvious choice for this position and I pray God to continue to lead you as your steer the ship of the party to lofty heights”, Onwe wrote.

Chief Onwe who is an energetic young man called on the new APC Chairman to use his background as a lawyer of repute to ensure equity, justice and fairplay while emphasising generational shift at all times in conducting the affairs of the party.

While felicitating with Hon Thomas Aruku, the Organising Secretary, Chief Onwe expressed joy at his emergence on the onerous position and expressed confidence that with his experience in previous positions organising the affairs of the party to victory in all elections is a done deal: “I am confident that as a young man of proven capacity, you are a square peg in a square hole and expectedly, organization of the affairs of our great party to victory in all elections is a done deal”.

The philanthropic aspirant said Aruku as a young man is in a class like himself who can bring the much needed change in political dispensation to play in the state and a leading political example.

He prayed God to lead both Eba and Aruku in the discharge of their duties. He also praised the Governor of the state and Leader of the party, Senator Professor Ben Ayade for providing leadership that led to a rancor free congress witnessed by great leaders like Sen. John Owan Enoh, Pastor Usani Uguru Usani, Prince J. D. Agba, Minister of State for Power and others.
