A yet-to-be identified female Police traffic officer on Wednesday was crushed to death by a scrap metal truck NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.
The incident which occurred at the popular WAPI junction by Mobil Filling Station, along Muritala Mohammed Highway at 5PM happened while the reportedly dark complexion officer was at her duty post.
Vanguard reports an eye witness account thus: ‘The China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) with registration number NEPZA CR 576 FTZ crushed the Woman sergeant to death on the spot while trying to dodge a Nissan Primera Saloon with registration number EDO ABD 721 HZ before it lost control,’ the eyewitness said.
The deceased who is reported to hail from Adim in Biase is a mother of triplet.
The PPRO SP Irene Ugbo says her demise is a huge loss to the command.
