The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, on Thursday received the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, in his office.
Ayade shared pictures from the visit on his Facebook page as he thanked the police boss for his contribution towards the state’s command.
The governor wrote, “This afternoon, I received Inspector General of police Usman Alkali Baba in my office.
“The IG, who is on a working visit to Cross River, has indeed shown that he is a fine gentleman and police officer by announcing needed support for the Cross River State Police command.
“These include 10 vehicles , helmets, bullet proof vests, and lots more. All of these will go a long way in helping the state commissioner of police and his men keep the peace we are currently enjoying in Cross River State. I thank the IG for his support.”
