C’River State Government reacts to incident of contaminated PMS

The attention of Cross River State Government has been drawn to contaminated fuel brought in by some tank farms currently in circulation which causing breakdown of motorist. 

However we are working tirelessly with the necessary authorities to remedy the situation.

Some of the tank farm have been sealed till the contaminant is properly separated from the good PMS.

The government is asking the members of the public to send in their complain of affected vehicle and filling station with substantial evidence to the office of SSA petroleum Monitoring.

The governor Prof. Senator Ben Ayade regret any inconvenience this may have caused, he moreso promised to make sure necessary compensation is put in place by the tank farm owners or whom it may concern.

Government on its part is concerned about the sufferings motorists undergo and is ready to do everything to put to a halt to all nefarious activities and sharp practices.

Furthermore, the government of Cross River State under the leadership of governor Ben Ayade is very happy with President Muhammadu Buhari for spontaneously wading into the activities of adulterated fuel with a promise to bringing it to book the perpetrators.

The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on petroleum and chairman joint task force petroleum monitoring Mr Peter Okim said any case of adulteration will be treated with iron fist to ensure that nobody brings a bad reputation to the state.

He also promised that his office will not rest on its oars until all nefarious activities are brought to a halt in the state and the integrity of the state remains intact.
