Ayade @54: Stanley Nsemo, Eric Anderson takes birthday celebration to the streets of Calabar

The 54th birthday celebration of His Excellency the governor of Cross River state, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, was celebrated with pomp and pageantry on Wednesday.

Aides to the celebrant-governor, namely, the Director General of State Electrification Agency, SEA Mr Stanley Nsemo and the Commissioner for Tourism Development, Mr Eric Anderson outside the usual routine of celebrating with His Excellency took the celebration to the streets of Calabar the state capital metropolis.

Indigenes and residents of the state capital metropolis especially the Calabar Municipality area had reasons to celebrate the celebrant-governor.

Market women stationed at the famous udua nyom ebe located at Edim Otop, the Edim Otop-Atimbo intersection all in Ward 2, and some residents in Zone 1, Ikot Ekaedem Unit of Ward 3, etc received cash donations from Nsemo to celebrate with the state governor.

While addressing the crowds, Nsemo and Anderson who observed that they were there to celebrate the governor’s birthday with people in the streets faraway from Governor’s Office noted that they were keen about the people outside Government House having a taste of the celebration as well.

Their visits left the crowd very jubilant.
