APC Guber Candidate, Sen. Prince Otu Concludes Northern Thank You Tour

Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has concluded his thank you tour to the northern senatorial district of the state.

The APC governorship candidate during the visit had fruitful interactions with paramount rulers and traditional rulers councils across all LGAs in the senatorial district. He also met with leaders, women, youths and other key stakeholders of the party across the 5 LGAs. At Bekwarra LGA, entourage of the APC gubernatorial candidate made a stop-over at the residence of the Ada of Bekwarra (II), Signor Omang Idiege.

Sen. Otu who appreciated the Ada Of Bekwarra for his leadership role also heaped praises on the late Ada of Bekwarra, Chief Linus Okom whom he said has been his political god-father for many years. According to Sen. Otu, the late Chief Okom was one of those who strongly wanted him to be the governor of the state. He prayed for God’s wisdom for the new Ada of Bekwarra to continue to guide the people.

While at Ogoja, one of the oldest provinces in the country, Sen Otu, together with the party leadership used the opportunity to unveil his deputy governorship candidate, Rt Hon. Peter Odey, assuring the people of Ogoja that his administration will ensure the conversation about marginalization of Ogoja is properly addressed.

Highpoint of the event was the defection of several thousands of PDP members to the APC across all the five LGAs.

Sen. Otu was accompanied during the visit by his wife, Mrs Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the APC state chairman, Barr. Alphonsus Eba and a high powered delegation led by His campaign DG Amb. Soni Abang.
