Governor Ben Ayade presents 330 Billion Budget of ‘Quantum Infinitum’ before the Cross River State House of Assembly for the 2023 Appropriation Year.
Of this figure 200 Billion constituting 61% goes for capital expenditure, while 130b which constitutes 39% goes for recurrent expenditure.
7.5 Billion is provided as citizen’s budget which will ensure the payment of 5,000 – 10,000 as conditional cash transfer to the rural dwellers.
There’s also a provision for a health insurance cover.
