C’River lawmaker presents his authored books to the public

The two terms member representing Biase State Constituency at the 9th Cross River State House of Assembly has formally presented two of his newly authored and published books to the Nigerian public NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.

Mr. Ogbor ‘Rootman’ Ogbor Odop on Tuesday officially presented two of his published pieces titled: ‘The Good Nigerian’, and ‘Youthism and the Nigerian Question’, to the public in Calabar the Cross River capital metropolis.

At the Pyramid Hotels located at Murtala Mohammed Highway, the two books were reviewed by Betta Edu the All Progressives Congress, APC National Women Leader and Onofiok Luke, Member of the 9th House of Representatives.

Ogbor noted that his idea of Youthism hinges on the assertion that it is the youth in society who owns the country. So, the onus is on them to take responsibility for advancing development in that space. According to him, if Nigerian youth do not take this obligation seriously, the country will degenerate into nothing.

Speaking during the event, the Deputy Governor of the state, Prof. Ivara Ejemot Esu while observing that Ogbor’s writings have always been abstract, commended the politician for authoring the books despite his busy schedules as a lawmaker.

Present at the public presentation of two books were Deputy Governor of Cross River, Prof. Ivara Ejemot Esu, Vice Chancellor of University of Cross River, Prof. Austine Angba, Speaker of Cross River House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams, Deputy Leader of Cross River House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hilary Bisong, DG of Cross River Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Janet David Ekpenyong, APC candidate for Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Hon. Emil Inyang, Commissioner for Lands John Inyang and others including students bodies, during the public presentation.
