Cornelius Ellah a university teacher with state-owned University of Cross River, UNICROSS (formerly CRUTECH) has written in very glowing terms of the All Progressives Congress, APC Cross River gubernatorial running mate, Peter Odey.

Ellah would eventually recommend Odey his former student and the APC guber candidate, Bassey Edet Otu, to his circle of friends, family and students for public office.

Ellah who claimed in a recent social media thread that he taught Odey noted that amongst his numerous students, Odey stands out in character and learning. According to the head of department, ‘I taught Peter Odinga several years ago, shortly after I completed the NYSC programme. Although I cannot count the number of students that I have taught since I began teaching, I can never forget most of them. For instance, I can never forget Peter.

‘I vividly recall that when I taught him, he was academically proactive, erudite and ethically upright. I am not surprised to notice that he has been demonstrating similar attributes since then.I always feel rewarded whenever I notice that my students and former students are leaving very good imprints on the sands of time. Therefore, I feel specially rewarded by Peter’s laudable impact in his career as a Politician. He is majority leader in the Cross River State House of Assembly.

‘Peter’s commendable impact in the House of Assembly explains why he is contesting on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the running mate of Senator Prince Bassey Otu in this Saturday’s Gubernatorial election in Cross River State. It confirms that his dependability and conscientiousness are exemplary and worthy of being entrusted with the second highest political office in Cross River State.

‘Therefore, I enthusiastically recommend him to my family and friends in this state, for favourable consideration in Saturday’s Gubernatorial election. I know that most of them are as Obidient as I am.

Nevertheless, being Obidient shouldn’t stop us from casting our votes outside Obidient’s political party in the Gubernatorial election. Similarly, I enjoin my students and former students who always identify with me to equally fully identify with Honourable Peter Odey and cast their votes for Senator Prince Otu and him. Both of them have everything it takes to deliver good dividends of democracy to Cross River State.’
