C’River State gov’t lifts 7 years ‘embargo’ on promotion of civil and public servants

HEAD OF SERVICE CIRCULAR NO.2/2023 LIFTING OF EMBARGO ON PROMOTIONS

 

His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, has approved the lifting of embargo on promotions for Civil and Public servants in the state.

Consequently, the embargo on promotions in the state has been lifted from 2016 to 2023.

This approval is with immediate effect.

It is anticipated that this gesture will spur staff to enhance productivity in the state civil/public service.

MDA’s responsible for staff promotions are hereby enjoined to comply with the content of this circular forthwith.
