…A Glimpse into the Timeless Bond Between Efik Professionals and their Revered Natural Ruler

Once upon a time, in the historically significant city of Calabar, a group of distinguished men and women embarked on a remarkable journey that would forever change their lives. Led by their mutual respect and passion for the preservation of tradition, these (wo)men belonged to a renowned organisation known as the —Efik Professionals.

Last week, the esteemed group was granted a rare and prestigious opportunity to pay a visit to His Eminence, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V, the revered Natural Ruler, Treaty King, Defender of the Christian Faith, and Grand Patriarch of the ancient Efik Eburutu Kingdom. It was a momentous occasion, one that would be forever etched into the annals of their collective memory.

As they arrived at the palace, adorned with a eerie mystic, the Efik Professionals were instantly overwhelmed by the ancientness of their surroundings. The palace, a symbol of power and tradition, stood as an embodiment of the rich cultural heritage of the Efik people.

The men and the beautiful women alike, clad in traditional attire that exuded a sense of dignity and pride, eagerly gathered in front of a magnificently adorned throne. Intricately designed with rich fabrics, gleaming jewels, and soaring craftsmanship, the throne itself seemed to radiate a mesmerising aura. It was the epitome of regality and authority, a seat that had witnessed the rise and fall of generations (yes, the traditional stool has stood the test of time and Efik Professionals visit is a subtle testament to that).
