…Hon. Agnes Atsu Promises Improvement in All Areas

The recently appointed Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Agnes Atsu, paid a visit to the players and technical staff of Rovers Football Club, a state-owned football team, in a bid to rally and inspire the team towards greater success. Her visit aimed to facilitate a better understanding of the critical areas that require attention within the team NEGROIDHAVEN has learnt.

During her visit, Hon. Atsu encouraged the players and technical crew to maintain their unity and dedication to their roles. She emphasised that they are a group of exceptional individuals determined to achieve greatness, regardless of the challenges they face. Her message to the players underscored the importance of their determination and commitment to the team, emphasising that it is a form of sacrifice expected of them by the State. She assured them of the government’s unwavering support.

During the visit, key figures from Rovers Football Club, including Chairman Ebam Ejen, Coach Mr. Sampson Unuane, and Captain Mr. Asuquo Inyang, took the opportunity to present their requests to the state government. They appealed for assistance and pledged their commitment to hard work, focus, and trust, with a shared goal of elevating the club to the Premier League at the earliest opportunity. They highlighted the team’s composition, consisting of goal-oriented individuals with positive mindsets, ready to deliver success.

A notable highlight of the visit was the presentation of the team’s jersey No. 10 to Commissioner Agnes Atsu, symbolizing a strong bond between the team and the sports development office.
