Ahead of the November 2nd local government elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bakassi Local Government Area on Tuesday officially presented party flags to its ten ward councillorship candidates. The presentation ceremony, led by the Bakassi APC Chapter Chairman, took place today at the party’s chapter office, marking a key moment in the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

Among those receiving the APC flag was Hon. Grace Bassey, the candidate for Ward 7, who expressed her gratitude and commitment to representing her community with dedication. Bassey who will be seeking to represent her ward for the second term has christened her campaign manifesto ‘Championing Community Needs’. The graduate of Health Information Management recently disclosed that her primary motivation for aspiring for the role is to be a voice for ward 7 at the council headquarters as well as be an advocate for the unheard.
