The Chairman of the Cross River State Planning Commission, Bong Duke, has congratulated the First Lady of Cross River State, Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as an inspiring leader whose humanitarian initiatives have positively impacted lives across the state.
In a felicitation message issued on Tuesday, Duke commended the First Lady for her unwavering dedication to service, empowerment and community development, noting that her interventions have continued to bring hope and support to many residents, particularly women, children and other vulnerable groups.
According to him, the First Lady’s programmes and initiatives have touched countless lives and strengthened social support systems in communities across Cross River.
“Your Excellency, your unwavering dedication to service, empowerment, and community development continues to inspire all Cross Riverians. Through your visionary initiatives, countless lives have been touched, particularly in the areas of women and child welfare, humanitarian support, and social empowerment,” Duke stated.
He noted that her leadership and commitment to humanitarian causes demonstrate the positive impact that compassion and purposeful action can bring to governance and community life.
The Planning Commission chairman further prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and wisdom for the First Lady as she celebrates another year.
“As you celebrate this milestone, we pray that God continues to grant you good health, divine wisdom and strength to sustain your noble mission of uplifting lives across our state,” he added.
Duke described the First Lady as a beacon of hope and inspiration to many residents of the state, noting that her dedication to uplifting the less privileged has continued to attract admiration and support from across the state.
