Cross River Professionals Spotlight Real Estate Opportunities in Online Seminar

CALABAR — The Cross River State Professionals Network (CRSPN) will on Saturday, May 9, hold its annual online seminar to examine opportunities in the real estate sector within the state and beyond NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

The event, themed “Opportunities for Real Estate Investments in CRS & Beyond,” is expected to draw policymakers, financiers, developers, and international realtors.

Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong, representing Cross River South at the 10th National Assembly (NASS), is billed to deliver a goodwill message as Special Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries include the state Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Michael Odere, and President of CALCIMMA, Kelly Ayamba.

Keynote speaker, ESV Eno Obongha, who is MD/CEO of CROSPIL (Cross River State Property Investment Limited) and President of the Association of Housing Corporations of Nigeria, will lead discussions on housing finance and investment prospects.

Two panel sessions will anchor the seminar. The first, “Calabar to Abuja Front,” will feature developers and mortgage experts including Orok-Oyo Enebong of Kabom Developers and Pamela Enamhe of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. The second, “Beyond Cross River and Nigeria,” will highlight global perspectives with contributions from Efiong Eyo of Nerz Group, Dr. Ikani Agabi SAN, and international realtor Chris Ekpiken from Michigan, USA.

Arc. Victor Edet Okon the principal architect of Aveo Architects and Projects LTD with others will feature in the first panel discussion on “Calabar to Abuja Front”; while Ignatius Oli, a founding member of CRID and commissioner at CRIDCOM amongst others will feature in the second panel discussion which will border on “Beyond Cross River and Nigeria.”

Convener of CRSPN, Jude Ashang, said the seminar would provide a platform for professionals to “connect, learn, invest and grow,” while moderator Nta Ekpiken Nkpang will steer the sessions.

The programme begins at 9:00 a.m. WAT and will be streamed via Google Meet, offering access to participants across Nigeria and abroad.
