Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is ready to take the bull by the horn as he is prepared to cash in on fellow French Man and Real Madrid lone striker Karim Benzema.
Arsenal at the moment have just Danny Welbeck and Oliver Giroud as their two main strikers. And looking forward to next season with the prospect of claiming the Premier League title, and competing on all fronts for titles, then they will to add depth to their squad to do just that.
Wenger is quoted by the British media as saying: “Benzema is a great player and we are determined to sign him for the next season. Let’s see what happens. We haven’t ruled out another signing. However, I’m happy with the squad.”
With report emanating that Coach Rafael Benitez is willing to use either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale as a central forward. The 27 year old French could find playing time limited if report is anything to come by, and he could be available for £40m.
Will Arsene Wenger be willing to folk out anything close to that figure? As we all have known him for his frugal nature of spending. He has done it with Mezut Ozil, so let's wait and see how the move will be possible.
