Photo News: NULGE Ikom chapter ask for Local Government autonomy

The Ikom Chapter of National Union of Local Government Workers embarked on a public rally to drive home the need for LG autonomy. 

The Joint Account of LG with state is what they are  not quite comfortable with.

But, the state government does not have powers to redress this structure. FG does. So, the rally may have been good in Abuja methinks.
