Kelly B., a musician with capacity to entertain the world with soul soothing contemporary music, thrilled dignitaries, august visitors including the mammoth crowd that assembled at the Rice Mill project site in Ogoja for the September 30th 2017 maiden NorthFest.
NorthFest (Northern Cross River State cultural celebration) created by Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade as a means of deepening the bond of unity amongst the five (5) local government areas was a big success as it ended up exposing the rich cultural heritage of Cross River North.
Through the elaborate display of the rich agricultural potentials of the five local government areas, "Food Basket of Cross River State" serves aptly as the epithet of Cross River North.
There's always a reward for our actions/performance. Since Ayade believes in the strength of reinforcement, Kelly B who encountered the digital governor on this august occasion met his fortune with a handsome reward of ten million naira (N10 000 000 00) for his outstanding performance at the event as well as his positive outlook to life in spite of his physical disability. His ability in obvious disability paid off.
