Gov Ayade doesn’t have a verified social media account —Cross Riverians

A handful of Cross Riverians are of the opinion that the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Benedict Ayade, doesn't have a verified social media account, be it Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google plus and let alone LinkedIn, etc NegroidHaven can report authoritatively. 

Despite the fact that Gov Ayade is referred to as the 'Digital Governor', this opinions are factual: His Excellency doesn't have a verified social media account. And this unbecoming for a public servant of his standing. 

For instance, in reaction to the picture featured in this publication, one Edward Efem has said, 'This is the more reason we need to clamp down on fake accounts, our governor has no verified social media account.  So, who's account his he bn active with?' 'Lmao, Andrea with which account is he active? Please show me cos I have some questions to ask him directly.' says Orok Bassey. 

It seems engaging with Cross Riverians nay Nigerians via social media especially in this era of ICT rave isn't one of those things His Excellency is cut out for. But, methinks, Ayade should have handlers in this regard: I think the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of the state, Mr Christian Ita, should think in this direction on behalf of his principal. 

But, on a quick note, it seems the governor is very active on Whatsapp. I can say this for certain because this seems to be where majority of influential politicians in Cross River State operate covertly while on social media. Hmmmm! Can we verify Whatsapp? 

We want a verified social media account to be sure his account is not cloned. Cross Riverians wish to speak with His Excellency the Governor.
