Cross River 30 man delegation dominates 33rd edition of NAFEST

Cross River dominance as the number one cultural and tourism state in Nigeria, was re-echoed at the 33rd Edition of NAFEST in Jos, Plateau state.

The state 30 man delegation made appearance at the ongoing 33rd Edition of NAFEST in Jos Plateau.

The delegation led by Hon Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Eric Anderson and the Managing Director Tourism Bureau, Mr Utsu John Atsu.

It could be recalled that the Cross River State contingent, won the Golden gong in 1974, where a giant size gong was produced and installed at the 11/11 roundabout .

In the same vein, Cross River State in 1988, came 3rd which earned all members of the contingent automatic employment into the state civil service by the then Military Administrator Navy Capt Ibim Princewill.

After several years of not participating at the festival, the Cross River state government has sent a delegation to Jos, Plateau State for the cultural exchange.
