EndSARS: I received a call from my principal I’d to leave my house immediately… Betta Edu testifies at Shiloh 2020

Dr Betta Edu the Commissioner for Health in Cross River state has made disclosure about how she escaped a maurading over 1,000 hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest of Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October 2020 in Calabar the Cross River capital city NEGROIDHAVEN can say.

Dr Edu as a testifier at Living Faith Church, Otta during the annual programme, Shiloh 2020, revealed she was pre-notified by her principal of the approaching hoodlums to leave her house as political appointees were being attacked. She further implied that her property was not vandalised because of the divine calling on Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

In the 3 minutes 59 seconds viral video footage seen by our correspondent, Dr Edu speaking for 42 seconds on the escape said ‘During the EndSARS protest that was hijacked by hoodlums, I received a call from my principal that I had to leave my house immediately because political appointees were being attacked, and then… of course, I took my Olive oil, I put a sign of the cross on all my doors, I went to my gate, I tied my mantle on the gate and said, “except God did not call Bishop Oyedepo, that is when they will enter this house.”

‘I took my things and I left the house; over one thousand hoodlums came to our estate, the house in front of me, to my left, to my right, they took every single thing in those houses, but no soul came to my gate.’

Dr Edu was appointed by Gov Ben Ayade of Cross River on December 2019 as Commissioner for Health.
