Council of legal Education calls 880 students to Bar in Abuja

The Council of Legal Education, has called eight hundred and eighty Nigerian Law school students to Bar, at the federal capital territory, Abuja NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.

The Director–General of the Nigerian Law School, Isa Chiroma, confirmed the new wigs at the event that took place at the Eagle Square in the FCT, for the first time.

At the ceremony the body of benchers also charge the new wigs to uphold the rule of law and avoid practices, that may run foul to the ethics of the Profession.

Call to Bar ceremony was to ease the burden of legal representation and advance the Nigerian jurisprudence.

With campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa and Yola, 1561 candidates participated in the examination, but only 880 were successful.
