Ogban Ebock: C’River political history is incomplete without mentioning your name, Obin says

The Technical Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on New Media, Hon. Philip Obin, has said that Cross River political history is incomplete without mentioning the name of Elder (Chief) Ogban Ebock, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former governorship candidate of the defunct All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP).

Obin stated this in a birthday message to felicitate with Chief Ogban Ebock who celebrated his birthday on August 15.

According to a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Kelvin Obambon, on Sunday, the presidential aide noted that Chief Ogban, who is currently a member of the Governing Council and Chairman, Capital Project Implementation Committee, University of Ilorin, has contributed immensely in shaping the democratic process in Cross River.

He said his ingenuity in championing the course of democratic governance and the institutionalization of a peaceful and enduring system of political power transition in Cross River, earned him the nickname, “The Bridge”.

The presidential aide also lauded the peaceful disposition of the celebrant that has enable him to successfully adjudicate over several contentious issues that are political, cultural and religious in nature, thus establishing himself as an advocate of peace and good governance.

Obin further noted with gratitude, the role Chief Ogban Ebock is playing to ensure that lasting peace and harmony is achieved in the APC Biase and Cross River, while extolling him for always reaching out to everyone for the purpose of building a strong progressive party that will pilot the state to an enviable height.

He, therefore, prayed the Almighty God to grant Elder (Chief) Ogban Ebock sound health and more wisdom as he celebrates his birthday.
