Their disposition was disclosed in Calabar the state capital metropolis on Sunday through the office of her State Chairman, Pastor Thomas Effiong Okon.

According to Pst. Okon, Nyiam had done well in the leadership as Director General of the Traffic Management and Regulatory Agency (TRAMRA). Again, he said the office of chair of APC in the state should be zoned to Ogoja and particularly, Nyiam. He also said Nyiam should be compensated for having contested previous senate elections and was still loyal to the APC hierarchy despite not being considered for higher political offices.

He said, ‘We were part of the team that brought in His Excellency for the second term, we played a major role, but we’ve discovered whatever we are doing in government, if you don’t have a good representation inside the decision-making, you will still have issues, and why we are looking at these issue, we said: What should we do? And luckily enough, one of us from the transport sub-sector… Because Godwin Nyiam when he came to the transport sub-sector, I’ll tell you the young man has tried.

‘And I like telling people, when somebody has tried, you give him a pat on the back, Nyiam has been able to stabilise the transport sector.

‘Before today, there was no synergy between the agencies in government, TRAMA would do something different, the other CTRA would do something different.’ he said in part.
