C/River By-elections : Sir Arthur Jarvis lauds PDP leadership in the state

The Leader of the people’s Democratic Party in Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong has congratulated the leadership of the Party including major stakeholders across the state.

In a release he signed on Sunday & made available to journalists he said the quality leadership and support of major stakeholders made the exercise a victorious one for PDP in Akpabuyo and the state.

He said :”Following the 26th February by-elections victory attained in Akpabuyo Local Government Area, i specially congratulate the dynamic leadership of Sen. Liyel Imoke, the state Chairman Mr. Venatius Ikem esq. and his entire state EXCO.

“I also want to thank H.E Mr. Efiok Cobham esq. Prof. Stella Attoe, Dist. Sen. Gershom Bassey, Dist. Sen. Sandy Onor, Dist. Sen. Jarigbe Agom, Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo, Hon. Etta Mbora, Amb. Nkoyo Toyo, Ntufam Ekpo Okon, Ntufam Dominic Aqua, other PDP leaders, stakeholders and the entire PDP family for our divine victory at the polls of the Akpabuyo state constituency by-elections of 26th February 2022.

“It is a fact that your supports played a pivotal role in our success story, without which we would today be wanting.

“As a party in Akpabuyo, we promise to always deliver on our mandate as we have learned from the new normal of electioneering introduced by the All Progressive Congress (APC) in future elections.

” I also want to encourage all party faithfuls to continue in adopting all lawful medium of exercising their mandate as against the scandalous and highly reprehensible violent disposition of the APC, wherein, they have condoned, colluded, connived and conspired against our collective efforts to protect our peoples mandate amounting to a violent assault on our electioneering right, which is not only constitutionally guaranteed but inherent, inalienable, immutable and inviolable.

“We remain strong, committed and resolved to defend the tenets of our party and uphold her mandate to the betterment of the people,” Sir Arthur Jarvis stated.
