C’River by-election: Sporadic shootings at Ogoja junction as Ayade special squad hijack elelctoral materials

There is sporadic shootings at Ndok junction in Ogoja local government of Cross River state as Special squad attached to Governor Ben Ayade’s office moves into Mbube communtiy and hijacked election results sheets to unknown destination.

The Special Squad in a convoy of 10 vehicles said to have been parading Ogoja communities scaring voters away, were said to have moved into Mbube West and East about when results started trickling in showing PDP in an early lead.

At about 6:15PM the Squad were seen coming out from Mbube road on hig speed and shooting into the air to scare reaidents away.

The Squad is said to have been mandated by the Governor to move into polling units and take over the results sheets and force INEC to announce realts in favour of APC and let PDP go to Court.
