Lady Emana Duke Ambrose-Amawhe on Monday constituted her political campaign committee in Calabar the Cross River capital metropolis in the bid to represent the Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South Federal Constituency at the anticipated House of Representatives NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

While inaugurating the political campaign committee at her Calabar residence, Lady Ambrose-Amawhe disclosed that her disposition is inspired by the need to serve her community.

The Efik royal noted that if given the opportunity to serve at that level of the national assembly her legislative activities will revolve around the three issues of rebirth, restoration, and reward.

While appointing Mr Francis ‘Masaro’ Etang as the Director General of her New Dawn political campaign, the broadcaster said, ‘I came to serve… I called you people here to tell you that I want to serve. I have been consulting including the incumbent, I am still consulting.

‘If it was fame or fan-dom, I don’t think politics would be the best avenue. I want to be a representative that is sensitive. What happens most times, is that our representative when they go to the national assembly, they want the executive to tell them what they want them to do.’

Continuing she added, ‘I have a 3 point agenda… Rebirth, I represent generation. Restoration because there is room for more. And Reward… Reward for the people of my federal Constituency. I believe it’s time for my people to reap the benefits of the land. Beyond the food on the table, we need more’.

Mr Etang who informed that the campaign is tagged the New Dawn noted that the campaign office is located at No. 1 Mary Slessor Avenue in the state capital metropolis. He inaugurated the other members of the committee.
