No plan to reopen public universities anytime soon… ASUU says

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has said that it has no plan to reopen public universities.

This is in reaction to the recent news of the federal government saying it will implement the no work no payment of salary policy.

The Union also challenged the Federal Government, FG to make public the result of the integrity test it conducted on the UTAS.

On the UTAS, recall that the FG said the former failed the integrity test, reason why it opted for IPPIS.

Nigerian public universities have been on strike for 55 days now sitting failure of the federal government to keep its side of the 2009 agreement it entered freely with ASUU.
