Developing Story: PDP Cross River lawmakers converge in Ekori

Cross River lawmakers under the aegis of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP have met in the state NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.

This development happened on Friday at Ekori where thirty-two (32) councillors (local council lawmakers) converged at Wormi Inn by Ekori Junction between 1.44PM and 3.46PM.

According to a source who is pleading anonymity for not been authorised to talk, ‘The essence of the meeting was aimed at familiarisation and form an interim leadership to organise the corporate outing of the local councillors’.

Hon. Raphael Egwu a lawmaker in Biase LGA in Southern Senatorial District of the state emerged the Acting Chair of a newly formed body called Cross River PDP Councillors Forum; while the offices of Acting Secretary and Public Relations Officers, PRO were selected from the Central and Northern Senatorial District.
