Energy supply has finally been restored to Calabar, the Cross River State Capital after 7 days of total blackout NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.
Recall that on Saturday 4th September the Tinapa Substation went up in flames burning up one unit of the transmission transformer which steps down power from 133 KV to 33 or 11 KV. 
Residents of the state capital started experiencing pockets of restoration of power supply on Sunday 11th September.
However, there are complains of failure of power supply at some locations in Calabar. This may be attributed to the characteristic epileptic power supply across the city, state and country.
