Calabar-based cleric who predicted the recent spate of insecurity in Cross River has suggested that security measures should be beefed up in ‘Akamkpa, Akpabuyo and Bakassi’.

Evangelist Effiong Ephraim II who on Wednesday 16th November suggested that security measures be beefed up in these three local government areas said ‘The attack of herdsmen yesterday is just a sign. December is the real theater. Meanwhile, security architecture should really really increase in Akamkpa, Akpabuyo and Bakassi, they will make people think it’s militants, but they are Fulani’s.’

On Saturday 19th November Ephraim added, ‘If the Cross River state government fails to do something about the corporate security of the state within 7days, then the wind of casualties will include those in government from December so that you can feel the pains of the masses. Enough of this insecurity. What the government needs now is direction not propaganda. Shalom’.

Recall that on 28th October this year in one of his threads titled ‘Prophetic Watch’ Ephraim had predicted the recent spate of kidnappings in the state: ‘The government of Cross River state should increase security in the state massively…

Ephraim II before specifically mentioning Cross River and its government had said ‘I see short gorillas everywhere, they will want to attack coastal states not just Abuja’.
