How recent insecurity along Calabar-Ikom Highway confirms religious cleric’s prediction

The spate of kidnappings which have greeted Calabar-Ikom Highway in very recent times especially beginning from this week have confirmed the prediction of a bourgeoning religious cleric based in Calabar the Cross River state capital city NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.

On 28th of October this year (less than a month ago), Evangelist Effiong Ephraim II predicted a new spate of insecurity. In company with other issues which Ephraim II’s prophecy highlighted was what he noted in the following words: ‘The government of Cross River state should increase security in the state massively…’

Ephraim II before specifically mentioning Cross River and its government had said ‘I see short gorillas everywhere, they will want to attack coastal states not just Abuja’.

Recall that at least nine persons were on Tuesday kidnapped by suspected herdsmen along Calabar-Ikom highway in Cross River state.

Confirming the incident late Tuesday night to journalists on telephone, the Cross River state Commissioner of Police, CP Sule Balarabe said the incident took place at 17:15 hours along the Calabar-Ikom Highway.

Again, Ekpo Etim Egong is one of the seven health workers kidnapped on Friday at the Calabar-Ikom Highway. He was said to be amongst the 7 health workers traveling to Ogoja from Calabar the Cross River state capital metropolis who was kidnapped by gunmen on Friday.

NEGROIDHAVEN also reported that there was a fourth kidnap incident in Calabar within two weeks as a pharmacist was kidnapped at Bogobiri and another Lady at Akai street off Parliamentary road was also kidnapped after the Cross River state police Command on Friday confirmed the kidnap of one Anozeng Egbe an architect with Faith Global Int’l Services Ltd an indigenous multi-disciplinary firm.
