Political support by name Zonest Support Group while congratulating the governor-elect of Cross River, Mr. Bassey Edet Otu, has expressed certainty that he will do well in office NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
This is contained in a letter addressed to the governor-elect and signed by her executive director, Mr Ernest Ozor.
Which reads in part, ‘The news of your victory at the 18th March gubernatorial election was greeted with esctatic celebration by the well-meaning leadership and members of our organisation.
‘In fact, your almost eighty thousand (80,000) votes difference against your closest rival to clinch to victory as governor-elect is a reflection of how you spectacularly endeared yourself and your People-First Manifesto to the majority of the voting public in Cross River.
‘It is on this strength that we are glad to say that congratulations are in order on your landslide victory.
‘We are convinced that you will do well in the forthcoming four (4) years. God bless Cross River and may we all succeed.’
Recall that Bassey Otu of the APC secured 258,619 votes to defeat Sandy Onor of the PDP who got 179,636 votes at the Saturday 18th March gubernatorial election across the country.
