Before the embattled publisher of CrossRiverWatch, Agba Jalingo, was incarcerated by Justice Zainab Abubakar of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, the publisher had predicted his ordeal a day before NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

He did that at exactly 1.12PM of Sunday 27th March in a social media thread titled, ‘The Three Possible Scenerios In Court Tomorrow…’ where he highlighted three anticipated scenarios in court the next day.

According to him, ‘Either of three things will happen…’

‘i. I will be granted bail by the court and I meet my bail conditions same day and return home.

‘ii. I will be granted bail and won’t be able to meet the bail conditions on the same day and will be remanded in Suleja prison custody till I meet my bail conditions, then I go home.

‘iii. I will not be granted bail and will be remanded till the next adjourned date. But there is none of these situations that will take me by surprise.’

Jalingo observed that he is not perturbed by the development. While noting that non of his predicament is a win for his detractors, he said, ‘I am an Amnesty International Prisoner of Conscience, POC. That is official. In the final analysis, those who think they are tormenting me today will still have to call me to save them from their own torment when the time arrives and it will surely come after 64 days. The road to freedom passes through a jail door.’

True to his predictions, he has been sent to Kuje Prison for frivolous cybercrime charge at the Federal High Court 4 in Abuja Central Area, before Honorable Justice Zainab Abubakar. Bail will be determined forthwith.
