There was high level of destruction occasioned by windstorm/rain at Ijibor, Bekwarra LGA as well as some parts of Igoli-Ogoja during the weekend.
Social media influencer, Tom Alims, has is pleading with the Cross River State Government to send urgent relief materials through the State Emergency Management Agency to Ijibor (Inland and Roadside) as ‘Most of our Fathers, Mothers, Brothers and sisters don’t even have roofs over their heads again even as the rains continue to fall.’ 
He has called on the Bekwarra LGA Chairman to do the much he can to bring succour to the people of Ijibor affected by this unfortunate devastation.
