SP Irene Ugbo

A journalist Agba Jalingo, CP Ozi-Obeh worked initially with ASP John Eluu before appointing ASP (at the time) Irene Ugbo as Police Public Relations Officer. He added that since then, she has had an uninterrupted tenure as the Spokesperson of the Cross River State Police command. He also asked if the feat by Ugbo is ‘due to competence, Police rules or other factors?’

Jalingo’s comment was a thread on Facebook. The thread has inspired other reactions. Some have said she is competent, others have traced her longevity to other factors.
