…celebrates the recognition of Commander Odiong as an Ambassador of Peace
Calabar – Rtd. Commander Patrick Odiong, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Security, South, was honored with the prestigious title of ‘Obong Emem,’ signifying Ambassador of Peace, by the United Nations – Positive Livelihood Award Committee (UNPOLAC) during their International Peace Advocacy Ceremony in Calabar NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.

Hon. Victor Udobong, Chairman of UNPOLAC, lavished praise on Commander Odiong for his tireless efforts in advocating for peace and promoting humanity in the Efik kingdom. This dedication to peace and unity within his community led to the bestowal of the revered title, ‘Obong Emem ke Efik Eburutu.’
In his gracious acceptance of the award, Commander Odiong expressed his gratitude to the organizers. He regarded this recognition as a compelling call to continue working fervently for peaceful coexistence among the people in his region.
