Nigerian Automobile Technicians Join State Government’s Environmental Sanitation Initiative

In response to the recent Public Service Announcement from the Cross River State Ministry of Environment, the Nigerian Automobile Technician Association (NATA), Cross River State Chapter, led by State Chair John Ayabie, is calling on its members to actively participate in the upcoming monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023 NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

The state government, through the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi, emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The exercise will involve the restriction of vehicular and human movement from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, excluding those on essential duties.

John Ayabie, the State Chair of NATA, echoed the sentiment, urging all members to comply with the government’s directive. In a press release, Ayabie emphasized the association’s commitment to supporting the state government’s initiative for a cleaner, greener, and more serene Cross River State.

NATA members are specifically encouraged to clean and organize their automobile shops and yards during the Environmental Sanitation exercise. This collaborative effort is aimed at contributing to the overall well-being of the state and fostering environmental responsibility among the association’s members.
