Residents in Bakassi are experiencing a power outage attributed to the vandalization of facilities, as reported during the “Otwetwe” show on Hit 95.9 FM.
The caller-in revealed the supply of power to the Akpabuyo and Bakassi LGAs terminated specifically at Ikot Nakanda in Akpabuyo.
Note that the region, has suffered prolonged power outage for quite awhile spanning beyond 5 years.
The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by communities when crucial infrastructure is subjected to acts of vandalism. Efforts to restore power and address the situation are expected to be underway.
