The Honourable Member, representing Calabar Municipality in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Stanley Nsemo, has assured his constituents and Cross Riverians as a whole that the current challenges would be surmounted NEGROIDHAVEN can report.
The lawmaker made the assertion in statement to commemorate this year’s Easter.
He said, “I greet you all on this auspicious occasion of Easter. For our Christian brothers and sisters, the significance of Easter which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ lies in His promise of ultimate triumph over all challenges and adversity.
According to him, “As people of faith, we must never succumb to hopelessness and despair. We must rekindle and retain deep faith in our shared vision of greatness, and continuously renew our determination to achieve our immense potentials through dedication to the actualization of our yearnings and aspirations.
Hon. Nsemo acknowledged the remarkable achievements recorded by Governor Bassey Otu-led administration.
“Thankfully, Governor Bassey Otu-led government has continued to give dynamic, purposeful, and people-oriented leadership towards the attainment of our goal of rapid growth and development. Therefore, l urge all Cross Riverians and residents to support the People-First agenda of the present administration for a united and progressive Cross River State.
He expressed fervent belief that as the resurrection of Christ signifies the triumph of light over darkness, Cross River State will resurrect from obscurity to limelight, overcoming its developmental challenges in the shortest possible time, if we all resolve to set aside our differences, work together as one people, and foster peaceful co-existence.
“l shall continue to count on your support, cooperation, and prayers in my quest for quality representation and delivery of the much-desired dividends of democracy to our people” he concluded.
